A good day starts the night before! Sleep is fundamental period end of subject! If you want to be productive, you must get adequate sleep.
Get enough sleep at night so your body has enough energy to conquer your day ahead. The more productive you are in morning, the more productive you will be throughout the day.
Your morning is the platform for your day. Having the right mind-set will send out positive energy and in return you will receive positive energy.
Have a healthy breakfast. Start your day off with a healthy breakfast. When it comes to the most important meal of the day, the options are endless. You have to choose wisely but make sure you have a good protein to carb ratio.
Breakfast is where you will want to incorporate some carbs if you are on a low-carb diet. My typical breakfast consists of organic eggs, organic sauerkraut and Ezekiel toast with Ghee. If you are doing an intense morning workout you have to eat a hearty breakfast to avoid a crash.
Exercise & Stretch and give thanks to your body. Even with ailments, love yourself. If you have a chronic back issue or a knee issue, don’t just say “Ugh my back” or “My knee hurts, I can’t move”, tell yourself it will get better and tell your aching body parts that you love them. Try it… it really works.
It doesn’t have to be a cross fit workout or spin class at 6:00 AM, or if you are about that life, get it! Everybody is different and needs different workouts to start their day. Even if you can’t make the gym or Yoga class, you can do an at-home workouts, a garage circuit, or even just a walk/jog around the neighborhood. Whatever gets YOUR mojo going!
Make a To-Do List Now you can make a list of all the things that you need to accomplish by the end of the day. Sometimes it’s best to make the initial to-do list before you go to bed, so you can start crossing items off as you go instead of thinking of them that day.
You can also brain dump all your stuff that needs to be done that week, but prioritize what needs to be done or it will just overwhelm you and have a negative effect on you instead.
Just prioritize the different tasks in order of importance. Pick 3-5 things max to do per day, and if you get through those things go to your master ‘brain dump’ list and pick a couple of more things.
Create Clear Goals. Think about the actual goals you have for the day on your to-do list. When you prioritize them, look at how you will accomplish them. The smarter your goals are, the more productive you will be.
Your morning routine can be one of the most productive times of the day. It’s all about giving yourself the best start with exercise, breakfast and a well thought out plan. You’ll then be ready to take on the day ahead. Don’t forget to always wear your invisible crown!
